Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at timelesslinks.org and the applications, software, and services made available by Timeless Links ("we," "us," "our"), including the Score application (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Timeless Links.
3. User Content
You retain all rights in and to the bake logs, photographs, recipes, notes, and other content you create or submit through the Services ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Services to you. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any applicable law or third-party right.
4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
4.1 Free Features
Core bake-logging features of the Score application are provided free of charge and without quantity limits.
4.2 Paid Features
Certain advanced features, including bake history and analytics and the Score AI Coach, may be made available through paid subscriptions or one-time purchases ("Paid Features"). Pricing and availability are disclosed within the Score application prior to purchase.
4.3 Billing
Paid Features are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and billing is handled by the applicable platform in accordance with its terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through the applicable platform's subscription management settings.
4.4 Refunds
All refund requests must be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, in accordance with the policies of the applicable platform. Except where required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds directly.
5. AI Coach Disclaimer
The Score AI Coach feature provides informational suggestions generated by a third-party large language model. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your particular circumstances. The AI Coach does not provide professional baking instruction, medical advice, food safety guidance, allergen information, or any other form of professional advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any AI-generated output and for the consequences of acting on it.
6. Beta Software
Portions of the Services may be designated as "beta," "preview," or "early access." Such features are provided on an as-is basis, may contain defects, may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice, and may not represent the final form of the feature.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Services, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; (b) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services; (d) use the Services to transmit any unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or (e) use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
8. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Timeless Links or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Timeless Links" and "Score" are trademarks of Timeless Links. No rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise except as expressly set forth in these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CONTENT OR OUTPUT OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL TIMELESS LINKS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR (B) USD 50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Timeless Links and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Apple App Store Additional Terms
If you access the Score application through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply: (a) these Terms are between you and Timeless Links, not Apple Inc.; (b) Apple is not responsible for the Score application or its content; (c) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the Score application; (d) in the event the Score application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price to you, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Score application; (e) Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Score application; (f) Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
